Mackenzie started her love affair with computers when her dad brought home punch cards for her to play with as a toddler. Today, as an adult, she’s immersed in bringing that love of technology and science to the next generations. When she’s not working at TEALS, you can find Mackenzie curating curriculum for the WIT4Girls clubs through Women in Technology Wisconsin, training Girl Scout troop leaders in STEM/tech for the Girl Scouts of the Northwestern Great Lakes Council, leading the K-1st grade Daisies of her own multi-level Girl Scout troop, or writing Theatre for Young Audiences scripts with her daughter, Ellie. She’s grateful for the NEW IT community and its dedication to serve area schools.
